David is a Minnesota-based family nurse practitioner in practice at TRIA Orthopedic Center Bloomington. As a nurse practitioner in orthopedics, his aim is to assist patients in recovering from foot and ankle conditions by providing patient-centered care using a holistic approach.
“I strive to educate patients and encourage them to be active in their treatment process with input throughout the care provided. My goal is to help people get back to doing the things they love to do. I believe in using evidence-based practice and staying current through continued education” stated David.
Throughout his academic career, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wyoming in 2009. Later, he received his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the same educational venue in 2016.
An expert in his field, he received his certification as a family nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
In order to remain up to date in his field, David is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Minnesota Nurse Practitioners Association.
A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse who works autonomously or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, to deliver family-focused care. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, being outdoors, biking, hiking, skiing, hunting, and playing golf. He loves playing hockey and watching all sports, especially live. Originally from Wyoming, he looks forward to exploring his spouse’s home state of Minnesota and meeting new people. He loves his career in healthcare and looks forward to helping people improve their quality of life.
