To begin her academic career, Davina attended Houston Community College and graduated with her Associate of Arts degree 2015. From there, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Lamar University in 2017.
In order to provide each of her patients with the specialized care they need, she holds expertise working in medical-surgical nursing, float nursing, as well as travel nursing. She is also an active member of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses.
On a more personal note, Davina feels that her nursing program prepared her for her career. She was very introverted before becoming a nurse but learned through nursing to change. She takes ownership of each patient, giving them the top-quality care they deserve. With this zeal on a day-to-day basis, she won a DAISY Award.
