Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Dean E. Bright, who serves patients in Springdale, Arkansas.

A caring and compassionate podiatrist, Dr. Bright sees patients at his private practice, Bright Foot Clinic, located in Springdale, Arkansas.

Since 1992, Bright Foot Clinic has been working with patients to provide the best podiatric care for patients in the Northwest Arkansas area. Dr. Bright’s experience in podiatry is coupled with genuine concern for his patients. All of the staff is dedicated to patients’ comfort and prompt attention as well. Their goal is to help patients maintain healthy feet.

Graduating from the University of the Ozarks with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1987, Dr. Bright earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991. He then went on to complete his residency in podiatric surgery at Norwegian-American Hospital, one of the top one year surgical programs in Chicago, where he was Chief Resident.

A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the Arkansas Podiatric Medical Association, the doctor is board-certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). The purpose of the ABFAS is to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by the advancement of the art and science of podiatric surgery.

Holding an Arkansas podiatric license, Dr. Bright can be found on staff at Northwest Medical Center of Washington County, Northwest Medical Center of Benton County, SurgCenter of Fayetteville, LLC, and Northwest Health Physicians Specialty Hospital. 

Dr. Bright specializes in trauma and reconstructive foot surgery.  He also performs the new Lapiplasty bunion repair procedure, and has performed more than any other foot surgeon in Arkansas.

An enthusiastic researcher and lecturer, he has published articles in the Journal of Current Podiatric Medicine and has given public lectures on podiatric health and services. He has also been a Participation Physician with various HMOs and PPOs.

Podiatry is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, and medical and surgical treatment of a variety of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. A podiatrist, also known as a podiatric physician or a foot and ankle surgeon, is a medical professional devoted to the treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. They can treat injuries and complications from ongoing health issues like diabetes.

Recognized as a Top Podiatrist in Arkansas in 2014, and Top Podiatric Surgeon 2021,  Dr. Bright has been the recipient of America’s Top Podiatrist Award by Consumers’ Research Council of America.
