Pertaining to her educational background, Dr. Andrews graduated with her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in 1986. She then went on to perform her residency in dermatology at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center in 1994.

Specializing in skin care, she is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Holding fellowship status, Dr. Andrews is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD).

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, which is the largest organ of the body. It is a specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. A dermatologist is a specialist who manages skin diseases and addresses both internal and external causes, including cosmetic concerns, involving the skin. Dermatological duties include providing consultations and screening tests, as well as undertaking cutaneous surgical procedures.

With over four decades of experience in her field, Dr. Andrews has been the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2016, 2015, 2014).

A loving mother, she enjoys reading, gardening, and biking in her spare time.
