Dr. Gardner’s academic journey began at West Virginia University, where he majored in biology. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Vision Science in 2003 before obtaining his Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During his residency in primary eye care, Dr. Gardner was honored as the Resident of the Year at the NSU Institute, showcasing his commitment to excellence from the outset of his career.

Originally hailing from Wheeling, West Virginia, Dr. Gardner briefly lived in Fort Lauderdale before making Middletown his home in 2005.
