Finally, he completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the ivy league university and one of the most prestigious hospital in the nation, The Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in 2020.
Dr. Patel is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). In addition to this, he is board-certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, a 501 nonprofit, self-appointed physician-evaluation organization that certifies physicians practicing obesity medicine.
As an expert in his field, he was awarded as “2021 Pennsylvania’s Top 40 Physicians Under 40” by Pennsylvania Medical Society. Because of his contribution to the field of Gastroenterology, he was recognized as a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia (FCCP), the nation’s oldest college for physician founded in 1776.
