A 2012 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Perkins went on to perform her residency at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak in 2016. She followed this up with a fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2017.
Dual board-certified, she is board-certified in dermatopathology & anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABPath). The mission of the ABPath is to promote the health of the public and advance the practice and science of pathology by establishing voluntary certification standards and assessing the qualifications of those seeking to practice the specialty of pathology.
Locally, Dr. Perkins is affiliated with Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital and Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital.
