Distinguished Optometrist, Erin Lorraine McCleary, OD will be Featured in FindaTopDoc

Dr. Erin Lorraine McCleary is an established Optometrist who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within Clear Horizon Eye Care in Plainville, Connecticut. Featuring over a decade of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in pediatric optometry.

Dr. McCleary’s career in eye care began in 2007, when she graduated with her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Pursuing further education, she went on to undertake advanced training with the Discover Vision Center in Kansas City, Missouri and at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon. Dr. McCleary obtained certification with the American Board of Optometry.

To keep current with the new developments and guidelines in her field, Dr. McCleary is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. She serves as President-Elect of the Connecticut Association of Optometrists, where she also received the Young Optometrist of the Year Award in 2010. Dr. McCleary attributes her success to her midwestern roots and her role models, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, quilting, and reading.
