They repair traumatic injuries to the eye and perform cataract, glaucoma, and corneal surgery.

Passionate about public service, Dr. Varu has been a medical volunteer in Cuba, Ethiopia, and India. She has worked with the United States Senate, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Public Health Association, and the American Medical Women’s Association on a variety of health care initiatives.
