Education: Dr. Drzewiecki graduated with his Bachelor in Business Administration University of Michigan with the intention to one day open his own private practice. He continued his education by attending Life University in Marietta, GA and graduating with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and Masters of Science in Sport Health Science. Dr. Drzewiecki is also a board certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and received his post graduate education in Clinical Neuroscience from The Carrick Institute.
Experience: After his education, Dr. Drzewiecki has had the opportunity to learn directly under Dr. Ted Carrick and many other great mentors for several years before moving to Illinois. Dr. Drzewiecki has treated many complex neurological cases from around the world traveling nationally and internationally as a consultant for other physicians on some of their hardest cases. He has earned his Diplomate of The American Chiropractic Neurology Board and is one of the only three with a Fellows in the state of Illinois from the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation. He has treated numerous professional, semi-professional, college, and high-school athletes and has a great passion for working with athletes. Because of this he is currently spearheading and growing the athELITE Sports Performance program at NWI.
Current Position: Dr. Drzewiecki is currently the Vice President and Functional Neurologist with The Neurologic Wellness Institute.
Functional Neurology: Functional Neurology focuses on Concussions (MTBI), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Migraines, POTS, Dysautonomia, Vertigo, Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and more. This is a specialty that diagnoses and treats simple and complex neurological conditions through non-surgical rehabilitation without the use of pharmaceuticals. Recovery occurs through a process called neuroplasticity, which is the ability of the brain to learn and change.
Personal: Dr. Drzewiecki was born in Houston,TX but was raised in Grand Blanc, MI for a majority of his life. He was an avid hockey player and high school coach. Outside of studying to better his clinical outcomes, Dr. Drzewiecki appreciates the outdoors, physical fitness, spending time with his beautiful wife and dog, and still plays hockey on a weekly basis.
