She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2002, and conducted her fellowship training in medical oncology/hematology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in 2005.

Licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey, where she has treated patients for more than 7 years, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
