Dr. Argyro Karidis, MD, Pediatrician with Northshore Children’s HealthCare

Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Argyro Karidis, who serves the population of New York.

Dr. Karidis obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Boston University, a Masters of Science from Touro College and a Doctorate in Medicine from Technion.  After completing her Medical Degree,  Dr. Karidis completed her residency and chief residency from Schneider Children’s Hospital. A board certified fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Karidis is also an Associate Professor at Hofstra Medical School. Dr. Karidis currently practices with North Shore Children’s Health Care as a Pediatrician. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18. A pediatrician is a child’s physician who provides not only medical care for children who are acutely or chronically ill but also preventive health services for healthy children. A pediatrician manages physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the children under their care at every stage of development, in both sickness and health.

Dr. Argyro Karidis is interested in dance, travel and studying foreign languages. Greek, Hebrew, French and Spanish are the languages she is fluent in.
