Dr. David Levasseur, a dedicated dental professional with roots in Van Buren, Maine, has officially launched Levasseur Dentistry, LLC, following his successful tenure as Dental Director at Pines Health Services. Dr. Levasseur’s commitment to providing quality dental care is set to enhance the health and well-being of the local community.
Dr. Levasseur earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Biology from Husson University in 2013, before pursuing his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Dalhousie University, which he completed in 2017. His journey in dentistry began with Pines Health Services, a non-profit organization focused on providing essential healthcare services in Aroostook County. During his time there, he also contributed his expertise at St. Apollonia Dental Clinic, a pediatric dental center in Presque Isle.
In 2018, Dr. Levasseur took on the role of Dental Director at Pines Health Services, where he served until the fall of 2023. His leadership and dedication to patient care led to significant recognition, including the Excellence in Oral Health Award from the Maine Primary Care Association in 2018. In 2021, he further honed his leadership skills through the Health Leadership Development program at the Daniel Hanley Center.
The decision to establish Levasseur Dentistry, LLC, by acquiring the practice of Dr. Timi Odimayo marks a pivotal moment in Dr. Levasseur’s career. He is committed to delivering comprehensive general dentistry services, with a particular passion for endodontics. His goal is to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable receiving high-quality dental care.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Levasseur enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and engaging in recreational activities such as tennis, pickleball, and golf. They also cherish moments at their cottage on Long Lake.
