Dr. Miklos Toth, MD, is reaffirming his legacy of excellence as an OB-GYN at Lenox Hill Hospital and through his private practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. A graduate of Semmelweis University in Budapest, Dr. Toth completed his OB-GYN residency at renowned institutions in New York. He has maintained board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology since the early 1980s and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

For more than 55 years, Dr. Toth has delivered expert care in women’s health, covering general gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, pediatric pathology, surgical procedures, and advanced imaging techniques. He is especially noted for his proficiency in cesarean sections, hysterectomies, ovarian cyst removal, and cancer screenings such as Pap smears and mammograms. Patients value his practice for its compassionate bedside manner, accuracy in diagnosis, and thorough follow-up care.

Dr. Toth’s dedication to women’s health extends into academic leadership and scientific research. He serves as Assistant Professor at Hofstra University and Research Director in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital and Weill Cornell. His outstanding contributions have earned him multiple honors, including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and memberships in prestigious international medical societies.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Toth co-founded the Millennium Health Foundation alongside his wife, Elena. The organization has spearheaded healthcare initiatives in Uganda, including the development of the Toth Health Clinic and Elena’s Boutique, a social enterprise supporting women’s empowerment. He also organizes monthly community health screenings and remains active as a volunteer attending physician at Lenox Hill. Beyond medicine, he is a certified flight instructor and enjoys recreational boating and kiteboarding.

Currently, Dr. Toth is leading pioneering research on asymptomatic pelvic infections and their long-term impact on fertility, as well as advancements in ovarian cancer screening using 3-D Doppler ultrasound.
