Dr. Ting is a highly respected periodontist specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants. Dr. Ting has expertise in the treatment of oral inflammation and often treats problematic periodontal cases, such as those with severe gum disease or a complex medical history.
Dr. Ting has a well rounded educational background. She earned her degree from the National University of Singapore in Singapore. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a DMD, from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, Dr. Ting has published numerous research and review papers, systematic reviews, and textbook chapters on periodontal microbiology and dental implant rehabilitation in peer-reviewed journals such as Periodontology 2000, Journal of Oral Implantology, Implant Dentistry, Compendium, Journal of Periodontal Research and European Journal of Oral Sciences. Articles have in total over 800 citations.
Dr. Ting participates in her community and volunteers at the dental clinic of Community Volunteers in Medicine. She also spends time outside of her work on platform and paddle Tennis as well as golfing.
