Dr. Ersek completed his undergraduate Degree from Morris Harvey College where he received his Bachelor of Science, before completing his Medical Degree from Hahnemann Medical College in 1966 giving him over five decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree he then completed his general surgery internship with the University of Minnesota Hospitals and his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency with Tulane University, followed by his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
To stay up to date in his field Dr. Ersek remains a professional member of the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is affiliated with every major hospital in the Austin area. Dr. Ersek is active in many civic organizations including the Austin Symphony and Ballet Austin. He is a member of Austin Smiles, visiting remote countries to provide plastic surgery for the poor.
Dr. Buckspan graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1980 giving him over three decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree he completed is surgery residency with Vanderbilt University followed by his Plastic Surgery Residency with the University of Kentucky.
To stay up to date in his field Dr. Buckspan remains a professional member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is affiliated with Seton Hospital.
Dr. Crawford completed her undergraduate degree with Texas A&M University where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree majoring in Zoology and Animal Biology in 2000. Furthering her education she then graduated with her Medical Degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2004 giving her over a decade’s worth of experience in her field. She graduated with top honors in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and was accepted into a competitive 6 year integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Missouri.
Dr. Crawford is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. To stay up to date in her field she remains a professional member of the Travis County Medical Society and is an active member of the Texas Medical Association, Austin Plastic Surgery Society, Texas Plastic Surgery Society, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She serves as a board member of Austin Smiles and lends her surgical skills and support to treat birth defects in areas of Mexico and Central America. She also founded the social support network Lady Docs of Austin and a book club serving southwest Austin and Dripping Springs. She enjoys supporting local charities such as Austin Smiles, SafePlace, Austin Humane Society, and Meals on Wheels regularly.
