She was an apprentice in the laboratory of Francis Collins, M.D Ph.D., the current Director of NIH and leader of the Human Genome Project. Under his leadership, she analyzed genetic associations of chronic illnesses.
Professionally, Dr. Cornish currently serves as a board member of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society Educational Foundation. She is a proud member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), and the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
