Dr. Hamaty Jr. is a fellowship-trained critical care pulmonologist with over four decades of experience. He serves as Chairman of Critical Care & Medical Director of Neuro Critical Care at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City Campus.

The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
Established in his field, Dr. Hamaty Jr. is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FACCP) and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI). He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Pulmonary critical care is a specialized field of emergency medicine that treats patients suffering from injuries and diseases of the respiratory, or pulmonary, system, which includes the lungs, trachea, diaphragm and related structures. Critical care pulmonologists are trained to stabilize patients suffering from pulmonary conditions that are affecting the ability to breathe.
