An established professional in the field of psychiatry, Dr. Gursky has been providing psychiatric services to children, teens, young adults, and families in Princeton, New Jersey since 1983. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, behavioral disorders, eating disorders, and more.  Dr. Gursky is on the Medical Staff of Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center.

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Gursky graduated with his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 1971. He then went on to perform his residencies in psychiatry at  UW Health University Hospitals, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Gursky continued as a staff physician  at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and as a member of the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania, until opening his private practice in Princeton in 1983.  

Passionate about his field, he is board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

In addition to being a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Gursky is a Life Member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders.
