Following her residency in ophthalmology at Saint Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she completed her subspecialty fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia in 1991.
Practicing her subspecialty in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus in the Charlotte region for over two decades, she is board-certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
Among her most notable achievements, Dr. Goshorn is the only pediatric ophthalmologist in the Charlotte and Rock Hill areas to be admitted as a Subspecialty Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
