The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2005. She then went on to serve her residency in family medicine at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital in 2008, followed by her fellowship in geriatric medicine with the University of Michigan Health System in 2009.

With years of experience in her field, Dr. Chun is board-certified in family medicine and geriatic medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Geriatrics, or geriatric medicine, is a specialty that focuses on the health care of elderly people. It aims to promote health by preventing and treating diseases and disabilities in older adults.
