His career in medicine began in 1988 when he graduated from the Pontifical Xavierian University in Bogota, Colombia. After moving to the United States, he completed residencies at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, followed by a fellowship at Brown University Affiliated Hospitals, also in Providence.

 

Dr. Coronado is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease, and he diagnoses and treats a wide range of heart-related conditions. These include arrhythmias, syncope, hypertension, heart disease, congestive heart failure and heart attack. Expert procedures undertaken by Dr. Coronado include cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, and cardiac catheterization.

 

Despite his wealth of experience, Dr. Coronado remains committed to keeping up to date with the latest advances in his field.
