Dr. Azouz is a highly experienced cardiologist, having been in practice for more than 27 years. His career in medicine began in 1991 when he graduated from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Syria. After moving to the United States, he completed an internship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, followed by a residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and then a fellowship at the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. As well as receiving training through the Additional Interventional Training at Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City Missouri.
Dr. Azouz is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, and he provides expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of heart related conditions, and has a special experience in peripheral endovascular interventions and structural heart disease especially trans catheter aortic valve replacement TAVR. Conditions treated by him include coronary artery disease, vascular disease, syncope, hypertension, arrhythmia, and acute myocardial infarction, and he also provides cardiac stress testing.
