Dr. Angelus is affiliated with St. Vincent’s Medical Center, further enhancing the quality of care available to our community.
Dr. Angelus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology from Colgate University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2014. His exceptional academic journey continued at New York Medical College, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2020, graduating with honors and being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.
Before embarking on his medical career, Dr. Angelus gained valuable experience working at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, which solidified his commitment to advancing health care through evidence-based practice. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where his outstanding performance led to his selection as chief medical resident. During this time, Dr. Angelus effectively managed the Center of Education (COE) Primary Care Clinic at the West Haven VA Medical Center, demonstrating his leadership skills and dedication to patient care.
As a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Dr. Angelus is committed to providing preventive care and fostering a holistic approach to health. His clinical interests focus on helping patients maintain their well-being through proactive health management and education. Dr. Angelus firmly believes in the importance of building strong relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel supported in their health journeys.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Angelus is an avid outdoor enthusiast.
