Eve Molly Esleta: A Dedicated Registered Nurse Making a Difference in Chicago, Illinois

Committed to Compassionate Care and Community Health

Chicago, Illinois – June 24, 2025 – Compassionate, driven, and deeply committed to patient care, Eve Molly Esleta has become a rising force in the world of Labor & Delivery nursing. While she’s worked in hospital settings since 2018, she officially stepped into her role as a Registered Nurse nearly two years ago—and quickly found her calling in Labor & Delivery. In that short time, she has become a trusted figure for patients and colleagues alike, known for her calm presence, sharp clinical instincts, and unwavering dedication to safe, supportive care during one of life’s most vulnerable and powerful moments.

Originally from the Philippines, Eve is an immigrant whose journey to nursing was fueled by resilience, determination, and purpose. “I came here to build a life—and now I help bring new ones into the world,” she says. Her story is one of transformation, not just for herself, but for every patient she serves.

Eve began her academic journey at Morton College, earning an Associate of Science degree, where she first discovered her passion for healthcare and leadership. She went on to Saint Xavier University, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her dual focus reflects her approach to care: grounded in science, but centered in compassion and connection.

In the high-stakes, high-emotion world of Labor & Delivery, Eve brings both precision and presence. Whether she’s guiding a first-time mother through delivery, supporting a family during unexpected complications, or walking alongside parents through the heartbreaking experience of fetal demise, she leads with empathy, strength, and unwavering professionalism. Her colleagues describe her as “the nurse you want by your side when it matters most.”

Outside the hospital, Eve is just as passionate about community health and maternal education. She attends prenatal workshops, promotes access to care, and uplifts immigrant and underserved families. For her, nursing is not just a profession—it’s a platform for impact.

Being named America’s Top Nurse 2025 is a milestone Eve doesn’t take lightly. “This honor is shared with everyone who’s been part of my journey—from my mentors to my patients,” she says. “And it’s just the beginning.”
