Exceptional Registered Nurse, Merrilee Ann Andelbradt, will be Announced in FindaTopDoc

FindaTopDoc is proud to welcome Merrilee Ann Andelbradt, RN, to their prestigious organization with her forthcoming publication in the FindaTopDoc. Now retired, Merrilee Ann Andelbradt is a highly-respected Registered Nurse, who has showcased over fifty years of expertise in ICU, OR, Obstetrics, Cardiac, Neuro, Medical/Surgical, as well as Open Heart ICU.

Merrilee received her RN in 1956 and had worked in Intensive Care for forty-three years as a night nurse, performing duties within a 20-bed hospital unit as well as in emergency rooms, delivery rooms, nurseries, and surgical units. Throughout the late 1950’s, Merrilee served as a main surgery nurse in Craig, Colorado, and worked as an ER Nurse in Denver for ten years. After coming to Illinois she worked 43 years in ICU which included medical, surgical, neurological, and cardiac patients. Prior to coming to Illinois she worked in different community hospital’s and her work included delivery room, nursery, Emergency rooms plus med-surg units.


Throughout her career, Merrilee has enjoyed working with patients and their families as well as helping them in improving their health. She thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of nursing, citing her childhood dream of becoming one at a very young age. For her lifelong success, Merrilee has been garnered with a nomination for the Spectrum Award for Mentorship and has appeared in newspapers, including the Chicago Tribune. She is also an active member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
