He is also affiliated with Lee Memorial Health System. Featuring over four decades of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in caring for the aging, veterans, adults, and teenagers, and treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder as well as bipolar disorder.
Dr. Koehn attended the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated with his Master’s Degree. Driven to further his knowledge, he went on to earn his PhD in 1974 from the University of Notre Dame, and completed an internship with the Indiana Children’s Hospital in South Bend. Dr. Koehn is certified by the National Health Register in Psychology, and has dedicated his life to delivering quality and compassionate care to his patients.
Dr. Koehn is determined to enhance his patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. To keep current with the latest developments and guidelines in his field, he maintains a professional membership with the American Psychological Association and the Florida Psychological Association, Dr. Koehn attributes his success to seeking excellence not perfection, his willingness to be altruistic, and his quest for constant and continuous learning. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, as well as fishing.
