Dr. Nudman’s acclaimed career in psychiatry began in 1993 when he graduated from the Universidad de Chile Medical School in Santiago, Chile.
After moving to the United States, he completed a residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital before entering private practice. Dr. Alfredo Nudman is a highly experienced psychiatrist, having been in practice for over two decades. With a wealth of experience to call upon, Dr. Nudman diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions and disorders in patients of all ages at his state of the art facility in Manhattan. He is particularly renowned for his expertise in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and for the treatment of eating disorders.
He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Eating Disorders Program at the Schilkrut Medical Institute. Alongside his practice, Dr. Nudman also serves as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Weill Cornell Medical College, where he is also the Unit Chief of the Inpatient Psychiatric Service.
