Soon Ock Hong Kim is an established Registered Nurse who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within Grace Cottage in Edmonds, Washington. Featuring five decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in home care nursing, elder care, and nurse education.
Soon’s career in nursing began in 1968, when she graduated with her Midwifery Degree in South Korea. After moving to the United States, she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Master’s Degree from Washington State University in Pullman. Since graduating, Soon has completed a number of advanced training courses.
To keep current with the new nursing developments and guidelines, Soon remains a distinguished member of the Washington State Nurses Association. She has dedicated her life to delivering the highest standard of quality and compassionate care, and she also serves as a Christian Counselor. The recipient of a prestigious Daisy Award, Soon attributes her success to her emphasis on being kind to each patient, taking the time to listen to them, and her belief in continual learning and education.
