Briggs is an established Respiratory Therapist who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Featuring over 17 years of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in bronchoscopy, neonatal intensive care, and as a charge respiratory therapist.

 

Carolyn attended Madison Area Technical College, graduating with her Associate’s Degree in 2000 and becoming a Respiratory Therapist. An advocate for pursuing further education, she went on to acquire her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2017 from Cardinal Stritch University. Since graduating, Carolyn has completed a number of advanced training courses. She obtained board certification in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric life support, and neonatal resuscitation. She is also STABLE certified.

 

To stay current with the new developments in her field, Carolyn maintains a professional membership with The National Board for Respiratory Care and the AARC. She has dedicated her life to delivering the highest standard of quality and compassionate care, and is passionate about providing the best outcomes possible for her patients. Carolyn attributes her success to personal goal setting, her passion for knowledge, and the reward of truly helping patients. In her free time, she enjoys being with her children, working out, attending concerts, and traveling.
