Kisha is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of experience currently practicing in NYC H+H. They are one of the nation’s premier public health care systems. Their trifold mission to serve, teach, and discover is achieved daily through an integrated academic culture devoted to excellence in patient care, education, and research. Kisha holds an expertise in Sickle Cell, Anti-Coagulation, Diabetes, and Wound Care.
Kisha graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and as a Registered Nurse from the City College of New York. Furthering her education she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing and as a Family Nurse Practitioner from SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
To stay up to date in her field, Kisha remains a professional member of the New York State Nurses Association, Caribbean Diabetes Initiative Inc., and the Nurse Practitioner Association New York State. The Nurse Practitioner Association New York State’s mission is to promote high standards of healthcare delivery through the empowerment of nurse practitioners and the profession throughout New York State. Kisha attributes her professional success to her mother who was also a nurse. She comes from a family of educators where education is not taken for granted, it’s assumed and obtained. When not working, she enjoys her family, dancing, reading, and traveling.
