Felix G. Dailey-Sterling, MD, a distinguished cardiologist with over 30 years of dedicated service, is renowned for his commitment to improving cardiovascular health, particularly within the Hispanic community. As a member of Optum Cardiology – Guttenberg in New Jersey, he has made it his mission to educate patients about cardiovascular risk factors, especially those that disproportionately affect Hispanic populations, such as diabetes mellitus.

Dr. Dailey-Sterling’s impressive medical career is underscored by his affiliations with several leading healthcare institutions, including Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall, Montefiore Medical Center, Hackensack University Medical Center, Holy Name Medical Center, Saint Michael’s Medical Center, Clara Maass Medical Center. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Dailey-Sterling has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine since 2019. Originally from Costa Rica, Dr. Dailey-Sterling immigrated to the United States after high school, showcasing his resilience and dedication to his profession. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Montclair State University and graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1990. His extensive training includes an internship and residency at NewYork-Presbyterian | Weill Cornell Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital, culminating in 1997.

Dr. Dailey-Sterling is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and interventional cardiology, recognized as a Diplomate of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. His professional affiliations include the American College of Cardiology, the Association of Black Cardiologists, and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions.

Attributing his success to his passion for medicine and a heartfelt desire to make a difference, Dr. Dailey-Sterling has contributed significantly to cardiovascular research, publishing numerous studies in peer-reviewed journals.
