Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Lerebours graduated with his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in 2009, after which he went on to perform his residency in orthopedic surgery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital in 2014. This was followed by a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in 2015.
Three years later, in 2018, the doctor attained board certification in orthopedic surgery through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
A first-generation Haitian American, Dr. Lerebours participates in medical mission trips to Haiti. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for Orthopaedic Relief Services International, and as a preceptor for the Nth Dimensions Summer Internship.

Epps Award for Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery, the Dr. Wilbur Strickland Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine and the Dr. Merton B. Anderson Award for Excellence in Pathology. Additionally, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and named executive chief resident during his residency at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital.
His research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including Operative Techniques in Sports Medicine and the American Journal of Sports Medicine. He has also contributed to medical textbooks.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Lerebours enjoys hiking, traveling, stand-up paddleboarding, and following global finance. He is fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
