Dr. Fred W. Lindsay is a highly venerated physician, with over twenty-three years of experience and specializing in issues of the ears, nose, and throat. His career in medicine began in 1995, following his graduation from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Lindsay also holds a Bachelors in General Sciences from the United States Naval Academy, where he was selected by Presidential appointment. After successfully completing a medical residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, Dr. Lindsay served as the head of the Department of Otolaryngology in the Navy’s Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia.
Dr. Lindsay is certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and holds a sub-specialty in Sleep Medicine. His clinical interests include oral cancer, pediatrics, and thyroid. He has also presented lectures and published research initiatives concerning recurrent respiratory papilloma, sublingual immunotherapy for allergies, as well as methods for molecular gene therapy. He currently practices with Hampton Roads ENT and Allergy.
