His following three-year medical residency was with what he considered to be two of the best programs in the country—West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he was chief resident, and Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He completed the first two years at West Penn and then applied and was accepted to Swedish Medical Center for his final year.
Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to Arbor Health, Dr. Peresko is an active researcher and a prolific author. He has published upwards of six papers in his final year of residency and authored a textbook chapter.
