In September 2016, Texas began transforming how it delivers health and human services to qualified Texans, with a goal of making the Health and Human Services System more efficient and effective.

Graduating with his Post graduate Bachelor of Science degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1997, Gideon went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand Canyon University in 2014. He is currently enrolled at Regis College, studying to obtain his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, specializing in psychiatric mental health Nurse Practitioner. (DNP-PMHNP). 

Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Case Management Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Life-time Member of Phi Theta Kappa International and National Collegiate Honor Society.

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. RNs fulfill a variety of job duties. In addition to their primary role in treating and caring for patients, their responsibilities also include educating patients and the public about a variety of medical conditions, as well as providing emotional support, coordinating care  and advice to the families of their patients.
