Harsha Dhanani received his medical degree in 1974 at the Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai, India. After moving to the United States, he completed his residency at the Albert Einstein Montefiore Medical Center in New York, prior to entering private practice.
Dr. Dhanani is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and he is an active member of professional organizations including the Medical Society of New Jersey, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Radiology. He is a highly-trained and qualified radiologist who has been practicing for more than 44 years and is currently serving patients at EmergiMed in Secaucus, New Jersey. Dr. Dhanani is also affiliated with the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and the Holy Name Medical Center.
Radiologists, use imaging to gather information about the structure and function of the human body that may be unavailable without surgery. They rely on penetrating radiation, such as X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans to diagnose diseases. They may also employ ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
