Hillard Warm, MD, FACS, a Plastic Surgeon with Cosmetic Surgery of NY PC

Get to know Dr. Hillard Warm, a plastic surgeon who serves patients in Port Jefferson Station, New York.

Dr. Warm is a leader in modern plastic surgery techniques who lends his skills and expertise to serve patients at Cosmetic Surgery of NY PC (CSNY), a cutting edge private practice in Port Jefferson Station, New York, where he works alongside Dr. Robert A. Jacobs. Dr. Warm embraced his current role in 1988.

“Cosmetic Surgery of New York, PC is considered by many to be Long Island’s leading plastic and cosmetic surgery practice. It is, in fact, a comprehensive state-of-the-art medical facility. Patient-centered in every way, from the moment you enter the reception area until the time you go home, you will experience the true meaning of quality care and comfort”, states the website of CSNY.

Dr. Warm completed his undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. He attended the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) School of Medicine in Mexico and graduated in 1979. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Warm completed the fifth pathway program at the SUNY at Buffalo Medical School and subsequently obtained a medical degree from the State of New York. Dr. Warm pursued his general surgery residency at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, NY (1981-1985), and served as Chief Resident for his last two years (1984-1985). He then joined the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, and completed his plastic surgery residency in 1988 (1986-1988).

“It takes only a moment with Dr. Warm to know what kind of surgeon and caregiver he is. Raised in Tannersville, NY, in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, small-town sensibilities guide his life and enrich those around him. Neighborly reliability and responsibility rule the day: A promise made is a promise kept”, states the official website of his practice.

Following his training, Dr. Warm attained board certification in plastic surgery through the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). Placing an emphasis on compassionate and comprehensive patient care, he earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

In addition to his work in private practice, Dr. Warm is Chief of Plastic Surgery at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson Station, NY. He is also an attending plastic surgeon at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY, and St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center in Smithtown, NY.

In an effort to remain at the forefront of his field, Dr. Warm is a professional member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories: reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive surgery includes craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment of burns.

Dr. Warm attributes his success to his father, who was a major influence, as he helped found the Tannersville Rescue Squad, an area that had limited access to emergency services. “When people need help, you get it to them”, states Dr. Warm. He continues to apply the same principle to all facets of his personal and professional life.
