Dr. Martinez’s clinical and research interests are focused on cardio-oncology and cardiovascular genetics. He has actively engaged in numerous clinical studies aimed at investigating novel methods to combat heart failure and evaluating cardiovascular dysfunction in children and young adults with a history of cancer treatment. His expertise extends to editing a textbook on mechanical circulatory support and leading the Pediatric Group of the International Cardio-Oncology Society.
