He followed this up with a fellowship in gastroenterology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts.
Subsequent to his education, he attained board certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Since 2011, Dr. Roberts has been serving as an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. He also has admitting privileges at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, and remains affiliated with Crozer Health Surgery Center at Haverford.
Previously, he served as Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Vice Chairman of the Department of Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, on the Board of Directors of the American College of Physician Executives, and as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine
A Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Roberts is an active member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
