Dr. Marangely Ruiz Medina, Endodontist, has been named among the Best in Medicine – Top Doctors in Florida 2025 for her exceptional clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and dedication to advancing the field of endodontics.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Ruiz Medina began her academic journey at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She went on to obtain a Master’s in Medical Sciences from Mississippi College, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Motivated by a deep passion for endodontics, Dr. Ruiz Medina completed a year-long Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and a two-year Endodontic Residency at NYU Langone Health, one of the nation’s most prestigious specialty programs.
Currently, Dr. Ruiz Medina serves as the sole endodontic associate at Pinnacle EPI and PDS Health, where she specializes in microscopic root canal therapy and advanced 3D-guided imaging using Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). Her practice philosophy centers around empathy, precision, and patient comfort. She believes that, in addition to excellent clinical care, “laughter is truly the best medicine.” Her goal is to “flip the script” on the traditional root canal experience — ensuring that each patient leaves her care feeling understood, respected, and at ease.
Throughout her professional journey, Dr. Ruiz Medina has collaborated with leading experts in the field and contributed to research on endodontic retreatment success and craniofacial analysis.
