After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Youtsos pursued her medical training and residency at the esteemed University of Chicago. It was during her residency at the NorthShore Family Medicine program in Chicago’s suburbs that fate intervened, as she found herself facing a melanoma diagnosis—a consequence of years spent under the sun and in tanning beds.
Despite this formidable challenge, she emerged victorious, undergoing melanoma removal while immersing herself in every aspect of dermatology available during her residency. In 2012, she triumphed over cancer and earned her board certification in family medicine, with a specialized focus on dermatology. Her journey led her to New Mexico, where she met her husband, Eric, and eventually settled in Pittsburg, to provide much-needed medical care to the community.
Driven by her belief in equitable healthcare access, Dr. Youtsos established ReNu Medical & Spa in 2016, bringing a comprehensive range of dermatological services to Southeast Kansas. Her commitment to serving the underserved has touched the lives of over 7500 patients across four office locations, making quality care accessible to all.
Beyond her practice, Dr. Youtsos is a respected figure in the dermatological community, serving as a keynote speaker for Alma Lasers and a consultant for TreCeuticals.
Despite her busy schedule, she cherishes moments with her family by the serene Farlington Lake and enjoys traveling to Florida. The design aesthetic of ReNu’s new facility, inspired by sunny Naples, reflects her unwavering commitment to bringing warmth and care to every patient’s experience.
