Dr. Majors’ academic journey began at the University of Memphis, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. She continued her education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine Degree, followed by a rigorous General Surgery Residency Program and a specialized Vascular Surgery Fellowship. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her pioneering work; Dr. Majors was the first vascular surgeon in a local hospital system to perform minimally invasive carotid repair, as well as the first to conduct multiple endovascular interventions in the state of Tennessee.
In addition to her clinical work at Zenith Vascular & Fibroid Center, Dr. Majors serves as CEO of Vascular Excellence, where she provides expert consulting in vascular care, business strategy, and healthcare leadership. Her expertise extends beyond the operating room, as she actively collaborates with industry leaders to shape policies that improve patient outcomes and mentor the next generation of healthcare leaders. Dr. Majors is a Diplomate of the American Board of Vascular Surgery, a Global PAD Association Advisory Board Member, and holds memberships in several prestigious organizations, including the Society of Vascular Surgery, the Southern Vascular Surgery Society, and the American Medical Association.
