Holding dual board certifications in internal medicine and infectious disease, Dr. Preis is recognized as a Diplomate by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Actively involved in clinical research and academic medical education, Dr. Preis serves as an attending physician at White Plains Hospital, assumes the role of Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Epidemiology at Brooklyn VA Medical Center, and holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at SUNY Downstate School of Medicine. Additionally, she serves as Chief of the Infectious Disease Division at the New York Harbor VA BK Campus and as a VISN2 ID ICC Lead.
Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Preis maintains active membership in the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the New York Academy of Medicine.
