Jason is a certified physician assistant serving as the Medical Director of the Northwest Region at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington.

Providence Regional Medical Center is a full-service medical center and the flagship hospital of Providence Health & Services, the largest faith-based healthcare system in the Northwestern United States. 

In a career marked by dedication and progression, Jason worked as an Emergency Room Technician, dedicating three years from March 2002 to March 2005 to this role. Building on this foundation, the next step led to a position as an Emergency Room RN, where his expertise was honed for two years and six months, spanning from March 2005 to August 2007. Following this, a transition occurred to AMN Healthcare, with one year and three months spent as an RN from July 2007 to September 2008. 

Continuing to ascend in the medical field, Jason’s subsequent role was RN Cardiac Rehabilitation at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, contributing one year and six months of service from October 2008 to March 2010. A pivotal move then materialized into the field of cardiology as a Physician Assistant at EvergreenHealth, dedicating two years and five months from October 2012 to February 2015. Finally, his professional journey culminated as a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department at Virginia Mason Medical Center, where his expertise was applied for one year and five months, spanning from February 2015 to June 2016, before joining Providence. 

Attaining his High School Diploma from Christian Brothers High School in 1996, Jason went on to earn his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of California, Davis, during the period of 1996 to 2001. Building on this, an Associate’s Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse was earned at American River College in 2005, followed by a Master’s Degree in Clinical Health Sciences from the University of Washington in 2012. 

Reflecting a commitment to continuous learning and personal growth, Jason is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). The NCCPA is 

A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians.  PAs are medical professionals, educated in the medical model to complement physician training, and assist the physician in many aspects of the practice. PAs are trained to take medical histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and assist in surgery.
