Jeannie D. Bock, RN, a seasoned Registered Nurse, Clinical Preceptor, and Relief House Supervisor at Regency Hospital Company in Greenville, South Carolina, has made significant contributions to the field of nursing over her nearly three-decade-long career. With a diverse background that spans critical care, cardiac-focused nursing, medical-surgical nursing, hospice, home health, emergency management, case management, and disaster response, Jeannie embodies the essence of a dedicated healthcare professional.
Jeannie began her nursing journey in July 1998 after earning her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Aiken. Her career took off at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina, where she spent over 13 years as a Permanent Charge/Staff RN and Clinical Preceptor. This foundational experience allowed her to hone her clinical skills while nurturing her passion for leadership in nursing.
In 2011, Jeannie transitioned to Hospice of Laurens County—Hospice House, where she worked the night shift as a Charge Nurse and Staff RN until 2014, gaining invaluable experience in providing compassionate end-of-life care. From there, she briefly served as Clinical Supervisor at Blue Ridge Hospice before her role as Nursing Supervisor at NHC from 2015 to 2016.
Her commitment to improving patient care led her back to Hospice of Laurens County in 2016 as a Case Manager and Admissions Nurse. Jeannie further expanded her leadership scope at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community beginning in November 2017, where she took on multiple roles including House Supervisor, Charge Nurse, Clinical Preceptor, and Interim Director of Nursing until September 2019. She briefly returned to Martha Franks Retirement Community in 2020 as House Supervisor, Charge Nurse, Clinical Preceptor, and Interim Director of Nursing for four months.
In November 2020, Jeannie joined Regency Hospital Company, where she continues to embody the spirit of nursing excellence as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Preceptor, and House Supervisor. Her leadership and dedication have not gone unnoticed; she remains an active member of the American Nurses Association, continually advocating for her profession and her patients.
