Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Moffett attended Stetson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He was subsequently accepted to The University of Florida’s College of Dentistry, which is recognized as one of the premier dental schools in the United States. He graduated in 1999, earning a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree.
For his training, he completed his surgical residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2004. At the University of Miami, he worked closely with many of the country’s most highly respected doctors in his field, including the internationally renowned Dr. Robert Marx. During his residency, he received extensive training in craniofacial trauma, tumor and reconstructive surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, and dental implantology.
Utilizing the most advanced techniques and the latest innovations in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery in order to provide the highest standard of care to his patients, Dr. Moffett is an active member in several dental societies, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
