Dr. Armstrong is the Founder and CEO of Advanced Skincare Medcenter with locations in Newport Beach and Fullerton, California. At Advanced Skincare MedCenter, patients meet with internationally renowned plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and estheticians to develop customized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s specific issues and goals. Dr. Armstrong enjoys helping her patients achieve their aesthetic goals through the use of injectables, lasers, and other non-invasive treatments. After graduating with a 4.0 GPA from Georgetown University, she went on to earn her Master’s degree in Biophysics and Physiology from the same educational venue. Thereafter, she received a scholarship to complete her medical education at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, followed by her residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Born with both a passion for the arts and sciences, Dr. Armstrong is naturally gifted in the field of aesthetic medicine and whole body care. In addition to having received two awards for sculpture, she has received two international awards in laser technology.
A prolific researcher at heart, the doctor has published over 20 academic articles, written chapters of books on dermatology, and received grants for original research. What’s more, she has pioneered programs for homeless children, donated her time to underserved patients, and spoken at national and international conferences on laser advancements.
