Jennifer Brock is a registered nurse / research nurse with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute – a comprehensive cancer treatment and research center in Boston, Massachusetts. The Institute has been committed to providing adults and children with cancer with the best treatment available today, while developing tomorrow’s cures through cutting-edge research. Jennifer is affiliated with the Stem Cell Transplantation Program at Dana-Farber, where she is responsible for implementing clinical trials for allogeneic stem cell transplants.

Throughout her line of work in non-profit organizations, clinical research, and patient care,  Jennifer has acquired the skills required in healthcare.

Prior to her current endeavors, Jennifer worked as an oncology research nurse at the Boston Medical Center (BMC). There, she was responsible for conducting cancer clinical trials, including the screening, enrolling, and monitoring of study participants.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2004. She worked as a student nurse intern in Women and Infant Services at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (UCHSC), as well as at Denver Health in Denver, Colorado.

Jennifer is a registered Hatha yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Haṭha yoga is a branch of the south Asian tradition of yoga practice. It helps bring peace to the mind and body, while preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.

Jennifer’s volunteer experience includes the Habitat for Humanity International in Galveston, Texas, where she was appointed team leader.

A registered nurse (RN) is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. A research nurse is a nursing professional that works hard to help create, evaluate, and perfect new and old medications and treatments for various medical problems.
