An aspiring gastrointestinal pathologist, Dr. Vazzano has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology within the Department of Pathology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio since 2023.

Upon embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Vazzano graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. Pathologists are physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and management of diseases by laboratory methods.
Attributing her success to a wonderful support system – including her family, teachers, and colleagues along the way – Dr. Vazzano loves pathology because it allows her to be a detective to find the best outcomes for her patients.
